Let’s break down the Festival ticket information so you know what you’re getting as the Festival draws closer.

Told It First Hand – A Conversation with Rakim

Date/Time: July 10th – 7pm – 9pm
Location: The Brooklyn Historical Society – 128 Pierrepont Street, Brooklyn, NY 11201

This ticket provides a full day’s access to Told It First Hand event for July 10th only. Space is limited. Doors are at 6:30 so come early and grab a drink before we build with the one and only Rakim.

The Hip-Hop Institute

Date/Time: July 12th – 10am – 8pm
Location: Medgar Evers College – 1650 Bedford Ave, Brooklyn, NY
Featuring: Timothy Anne Burnside – Museum Specialist in Curatorial Affairs at the Smithsonian’s National Museum of African American History and Culture

This ticket provides a full day’s access to The Hip-Hip Institute event for July 12th only. Medgar Evers, CUNY students, faculty and staff are free. $10 for everyone else. Be aware that this event is on a first come, first serve basis so make sure to arrive at least fifteen minutes prior to the start of this event for seating.

The Dummy Clap Film Festival

Dates/Times: July 11th – 4pm – 6pm; July 12th – 6pm – 8pm; July 13th – 12pm – 7pm
Locations: Medgar Evers College – 1650 Bedford Ave, Brooklyn, NY
Feature Films w/ Panel Discussions: “Kicks”; “Dust + Dignity”; “De La Soul Is Not Dead”; “Money, Brower, Respect – Gloss Gang”; “Rhythm Roulette: 9th Wonder” (MASS APPEAL); “Too Old to Die Young” a short documentary on Russell Simmons; “The Breaks” Panel; “L.A. Burning: The Riots 25 Years Later”; “Rhythm Roulette: Salaam Remi” (MASS APPEAL)

This ticket provides a full day’s access to The Dummy Clap Film Festival event for July 13th only. Be aware that this event is on a first come, first serve basis so make sure to arrive at least fifteen minutes prior to the start of this event for seating.

The Juice Hip-Hop Exhibition

Date/Time: July 14th – 7pm – 11pm
Location: St. Ann’s Warehouse 45 Water Street, DUMBO, Brooklyn
Featuring: Dreamville MCs – Bas, Cozz & Omen, EarthGang, A&R Industry vet – Sickamore, Kerim The DJ and DJ Midnite.

This ticket provides access to the Juice Hip-Hop Exhibition event for July 14th only.

Featuring: DMX, The LOX, Stretch & Bobbito, OSHUN, DJ Mister Cee, DJ Rob Swift, and more. Hosted by Uncle Ralph McDaniels and Torae.
