Biography

Tek and Steele, formerly known as the Cocoa Brovaz, are pillars of Hip-Hop’s Golden era, debuting on the scene in 1993 as members of the Boot Camp Clik. The duo made a memorable appearance on Black Moon’s Enta Da Stage then later released their own classic debut, Dah Shinin’.

Since then, Smif N Wessun have continued to make music and tour the world. Their New York grit and hardcore underground appeal have weathered the ever fluctuating hip-hop landscape from gangsta rap, to shiny suits. From ringtone rappers to hipster rap, Smif N’ Wessun have stayed true to their sound resulting in a massive following the world over.
